Free Label Feature
In my efforts to creating seasonal capsule wardrobes, I also have become more aware of ethical conscious clothing companies. Free Label is a clothing company based in Canada with beautiful, versatile pieces, essential in any wardrobe. You can shop their website here, and visit their Instagram here. I love following Free Label on Instagram because they talk a lot about consumerism, minimalism and making smart fashion choices. It's so easy to get sucked into consumerism and I'm 100% guilty of it. Consumerism and trends is one of the big reasons I decided to start capsule wardrobes and minimalism and while it has helped me a lot, it's still so easy to fall into the beautiful marketing of my favorite shops each season. I've talked about this before, but I truly believe in investing in versatile, well made pieces that will last years instead of mindlessly shopping and spending money on items that aren't well made and won't last.
White Lana Tank + Black Friday Pant
The black friday pants are the most comfortable pants I've ever worn. They are made out of a silky technical bamboo fabric and can be worn dressed up or dressed down, worn high waisted or rolled down. They are so comfortable, thick, but not overwhelming or too warm. I'll basically be living in them all spring/summer with sandals and crop tops. The white tank is such a great basic that can easily be worn with any of my pants or shorts in my closet, or even paired with a jumpsuit or dress for a new look. Bamboo naturally has sweat wicking and anti-bacterial properties, which is perfect for the hot desert days we have been having.
