Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I'm so happy you are here. I am a mama, a photographer, and a blogger just trying to balance life as gracefully as I can. On here, you will see our favorite products, minimalism and capsule wardrobe tips, our life as a military family and my photography work.

Eloise's Space || Lorena Canals Feature

We updated Eloise's room around Christmas time and I finally pulled everything together to show you guys! I wanted to give her room a little update to make it feel like a little girls room instead of a nursery, and I love how it turned out. Eloise's crib converted to a toddler bed, but she's so tall it seemed like she would benefit from a little more space, so we packed it up and I might have cried just a little. Seeing your baby in a big bed is so emotional and really made me see her as a little girl and not a baby anymore.

Eloise's toddler bed is from IKEA and I bought it from a friend (still available online!). It has 3 length settings-- smallest is a toddler sized bed and the biggest setting is a twin. I use twin sized bedding and I tucked it under to fit the mattress.

We have a Lorena Canals rug in Eloise's play area downstairs and loved it so much we got another for her room. These are the softest, coziest rugs ever. And the best part... they are machine washable! Their rugs are handmade by artisans in India using raw materials and natural dyes. An eco-friendly rug that I can throw in the wash whenever it's dirty is like a dream come true. I have the Burgundy Bereber rug on my wishlist for the guest room :).

I have washed both of our rugs from Lorena Canals and it's so easy!  I would recommend these to everybody. Theres so many different colors, patterns, and sizes to accommodate any room in any home.
